Reni sat at the desk in her dorm room, reading the copy of Faust she had found in the library. It was unusual for her to re-read a book more than twice, as she remembered the details well, but she had had a sudden whim to read the book yet again so there she was, absently absorbed into the German play.

Kanna couldn't find anyone around and was quite bored after training. Her usual routine was to gorge herself with food, take a steaming bath and relax, but she seemed to want to do something a bit out of the norm today.

HOWEVER....she WAS quite hungry. And she knew how to satisfy both urges at once. Reni was usually found either outside in the garden or in her room. And after checking the garden, she made her way upstairs to the silver haired girl's door.

"Hey!" She knocked twice smiling. "Reni, could you help me with something?"

Reni set the blue-bound book on her desk and walked to her door, opening it to find the tall Okinawan smiling. "What did you have in mind?" She looked at the older woman with her customary expressionless...expression.

"Weeeeeellllll, you seemed all alone, so," she grabbed her comrade by the arm and began pulling her down the hallway towards the stairs. "You'll just see when we get there."

She followed along quietly at the pace Kanna set, quickly adjusting to the other's larger strides.

Kanna eventually wound up dragging her into the kitchen and let go of Reni's hand leaving her standing in the door way as she strode away. Not 10 seconds later, she returned throwing a knife and an apron into the younger girl's hands. "Give me a hand, will ya? I need to finish in time for everyone else to arrive." She smiled her trade mark large grin and winked.

"Ah...s-sure." She answered, caught off-guard at the sudden appearance of cooking tools in her hands. She put on the apron and asked, "What is it that you need me to do?"

(( Make a new thread in 'Inside the Theatre' labeled kitchen and continue there...we're no longer in "my" room, 'k? ))
